Creativity

Service
IB diploma students of Choithram International are actively engaged in creative activities that serve their local or global communities. It challenges and moulds the students to recognize the value of experiential learning. CAS is an opportunity for students to expand their interests, work in groups, serve their communities, and to ultimately learn something new about themselves. It aims to develop the several IB profiles within them such as Reflective thinkers, Balanced, Open Minded, aware of themselves.
CAS involves students in a range of activities alongside their academic studies. The three strands of CAS, which are often interwoven with particular activities, are characterized as follows:
Creativity- Arts and other experiences that involve creative thinking.
Action- Physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle, complementing academic work elsewhere in the Diploma Program.

Service - an unpaid and selfless voluntary exchange that has a learning benefit for the student.
It enables students to enhance their personal and interpersonal development through experiential learning. At the same time, it provides a necessary counterbalance to the academic pressures of the rest of the Diploma Program. CAS program in CI is both challenging and enjoyable, a personal journey of self-discovery. Each student has a different starting point, and therefore different goals and needs, but for many their CAS activities include experiences that are profound and life changing.
At Choithram International, students have done several CAS activities such as -
DP Students have taken up CAS Service initiatives including volunteering at old age homes, undertaking a long-term project on world tourism day, teaching at government schools, helping the Indore traffic police and working with differently-abled children.
Time and again various fund raising activities are organized by the students whereby they put for sell the products they create, using their artistic fervour. The money thus generated is used to help the people in need.
CAS is inherent; IB is the key to this inheritance.
