Where it all begins
It all begins when you come to the Earth,
Pristine and a part of its treasure trove.
You know nothing at that time,
And that feeling makes you feel everything.
Let's run into the distance now.
You're grown-up.
Bustling inside your head are ideas,
Bubbling in your heart is love.
You want to do a million things,
And roam the endless skies.
Let's bring in the antagonist now.
Raise your glasses, this is Life.
You've gathered the courage to act,
You're working for your dreams now.
Life throws sand in your eyes,
And boulders in your shoes.
You think you can't go any further,
You weep over those seemingly big tiny hurdles.
Here's where the reality comes in,
Here's why this poem wanted to begin.
You haven't planned it truly,
You haven't worked the right hours.
You've been very casual with your time,
And you don't really know your inner power.
All of us dream, all of us do.
We work hard for our dreams,
But little hindrances shouldn't matter in this stream.
Gargantuan mountains take time to scale, you know,
It requires perseverance, love and an indomitable will.
So, the next me you fall, remember this.
It all begins when you come to the Earth,
And then, dreams inside you take birth.
Your path ahead will have hurdles,
But you shouldn't stop by them.
Success only comes when you keep running,
Dreams only realise when you keep persevering.
Life may begin with your birth,
But if you get up every time you fall,
If you learn to fly high every time you shall,
You will and you will be what you want.
And that, is where it all will really begin.
