Existentialism
A Celebration of Individuality
The hard work, perseverance, dedication, deliberations, efforts, endeavors..... And the list is endless. All these combined together culminate into the biggest event of a school in the form of Annual Day, an event which provides platform to showcase the latent talent of each and every student studying in the school, an event where every child makes all the efforts possible to make the grand evening a huge success. Such glory was shown by the students of Choithram International on their Annual Day on the theme "Individuality", which was much voraciously expressed by the tagline "I THINK THEREFORE I AM".
The evening witnessed not only the cultural marvels presented by the students but also the prize giving ceremony, which commended the efforts of a multitude of students in different fields. The event involved a lot many performances such as various dance forms, mime, choir, drama, and a special niche act called as the "Nukkad Natak". All the acts were performed by a combination of students ranging from EYP to DP.

It commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, to begin the journey with grace. After that the audience's spirits were cheered up by the energetic welcome song by the CI choir, the Vocal Verve, which was followed by the rocking orchestra. Next in line, the tiny toddlers of EYP and PYP performed a series of mesmerizing performances, one including a drama on the mysterious "Pinocchio", and the other on the theme hope. Following this, we had the prize distribution for the various achievements of the CIians. Some of these precious achievements include academic excellence, sports, arts and MUNs. The next creative presentation of the evening was the most important, rather essential act of the evening, the "Nukkad Natak", also known as the Street Play. The students who participated tried to reveal the dark sides of the society, and the situation of women in it. Moving ahead, we had a performance again by the CI Choir, in which they presented two numbers, which highlighted the need to strengthen the positivity amongst all. The last presentation was the much awaited crescendo, named as Fusion, in which different dance forms such as Ballet, Hip-pop, Kathak and Bhangra were shown. It resonated across the message of underlying unity of humans inspite of all their diversified frames. The national anthem was sung by everyone present there to mark the conclusion of the evening with a feeling of pride towards the nation.
The spirit of ecstasy, melody, symphony, zeal and devotion which the CI fraternity took up and showcased in front of the audience was a replication of all the intensity that go into the making and flourishing of the entity named CHOITHRAM INTERNATIONAL and will keep proliferating in the years to come.
